What is the LR002719 O-ring used for?
This 9.5 x 2.5mm O-ring seals a joint in the air conditioning refrigerant circuit, at the condenser and compressor connections. It fits a wide range of Land Rovers including the Discovery 4, Discovery Sport, Freelander 2, and Range Rover Evoque.
Does it work with both R134a and the newer refrigerant?
This O-ring suits systems charged with either R134a or HFO-1234yf refrigerant, so it covers older and newer A/C setups across the Evoque L538 and L551, Discovery Sport and Range Rover Sport L320. Match it to the joint size on your system.
Should this O-ring be renewed when the joint is opened?
Renew this O-ring whenever the A/C joint it seals is opened. The 9.5 x 2.5mm seal takes a set over time and can leak refrigerant once disturbed, so fitting a fresh one on reassembly is standard before the system is evacuated and recharged.
