Gasklep is de vlinderklep voor de Solex-carburateur, die werkt in het lucht- en brandstoftoevoersysteem.

De schijf is gemonteerd op de gasklepas in de carburateurbehuizing en scharniert om het volume van het lucht-brandstofmengsel dat de motor in wordt gezogen te regelen wanneer het gaspedaal wordt bediend, en zo het motortoerental en de belasting te regelen.
