The AWR2025 is the top windscreen finisher for the Land Rover Discovery 1 (1989-1998). It fits across the upper edge of the windscreen aperture along the roof header, covering the seam where the glass meets the header rail.
Where on the vehicle does the top finisher sit?
This finisher runs horizontally across the top of the windscreen on the Discovery 1, concealing the joint and weather seal between the windscreen and the roof header rail. It's the exterior trim strip along the roof line above the glass.
What's the difference between the top finisher and the A-post finishers?
The AWR2025 is the top piece only, running across the upper windscreen edge on the Discovery 1. The A-post finishers cover the vertical pillar seams down each side. A full windscreen surround uses the top finisher plus both left and right A-post finishers.
