What does the DA2383 wheel bearing kit include?

The DA2383 overhauls one hub on the Discovery 1. It supplies the inner and outer taper roller bearings, hub seals, a flange gasket, flange bolts, lock tabs, a hub cap and bearing grease. The same bearings are used at every corner, so it fits any front or rear hub, and one kit does a single wheel.

Does this kit fit both front and rear hubs?

Yes, on the later Discovery 1 the same bearing kit fits the front axle and the rear axle drive shaft and hub. One kit covers a single wheel, so a full set of four corners needs four kits. This version includes the flange bolts as well as the bearings and seals.

This kit fits the Land Rover Discovery 1 from VIN JA032851 on, covering all engines. Earlier vehicles up to JA032850 use a different hub arrangement, so check your chassis number against the break before ordering. It's the later-VIN kit.
