What is the nearside battery tray?
The nearside battery tray is the left-hand carrier tray that supports and locates the battery in the engine bay. It forms the platform the battery sits on and provides the base for the battery clamp.
Which vehicles does it fit?
It fits the nearside battery position on the Discovery 1 (1989-1998) and Range Rover Classic. These vehicles can carry a battery on either side, so check you need the nearside (left-hand) tray.
How do I know if I need the nearside or offside tray?
The nearside tray is the left-hand tray as you sit in the vehicle. If your battery sits on the right, you need the offside tray instead. Confirm which side your battery is mounted before ordering.
