What is the DA5643 winch bumper?
The DA5643 is a heavy-duty steel replacement front bumper for the Land Rover Defender with an integral winch mount. It lets you carry a winch at the front of the vehicle for self-recovery and pulling work.
Why is this the air-con version?
This winch bumper is shaped to clear the air-conditioning equipment, so it's for Defenders fitted with air conditioning. If your vehicle has A/C, the standard winch bumper can foul the condenser, which is why the air-con-specific version exists.
Which winches does this bumper accept?
The DA5643 bumper is designed to accept lowline winches such as the Warn XD9000 and XD9.5, plus other lowline models. The low mounting keeps the winch tucked behind the bumper line rather than sitting proud at the front.
