Bij grote motorrevisiewerkzaamheden aan welke motor dan ook is het gemakkelijk om de achterste hoofdafdichting te beschadigen als deze niet zorgvuldig wordt uitgelijnd en op zijn plaats wordt geleid.

What does the DA7593 rear crankshaft oil seal fitting tool do?
The DA7593 guides and aligns the rear main crankshaft oil seal into its housing during engine rebuild work. The rear main seal is easily damaged if pressed in without support, so the tool centres it over the crankshaft flange and drives it in squarely to the correct depth.

Why do I need a special tool to fit the rear crank seal?
The rear crankshaft seal seats around the crank flange with very little margin for error, and fitting it by hand or with makeshift tools usually distorts or nicks the seal lip, causing an oil leak. The tool ensures the seal goes in square and to the right depth first time.
