What is the Stainless Steel Front Grille for?

The Front Grille is a stainless steel panel that sits in the front body panel ahead of the radiator and intercooler. It admits cooling airflow to the engine while screening the cooling pack against stone and debris ingress. Aftermarket Allmakes part for the Defender.

Which Defenders does it fit?

This front grille fits the Defender from 1986-2006 and later Defenders. It's a stainless steel replacement for the original front grille panel. Confirm your model year and, importantly, your engine and air conditioning setup before ordering, as there's a fitment restriction on some Td5 cars.

Are there any fitment restrictions?

Yes, this grille is not suitable for Td5 vehicles fitted with air conditioning. On those cars the AC system layout behind the grille differs, so check whether your Defender is a Td5 with air conditioning before ordering. All other listed Defender applications take the stainless grille.
