What is the GA4349 Tail Light Guard for?
It's a lamp guard for 95mm round NAS-pattern rear lamps, protecting the lens and lamp body from impact by branches, stones and loaded cargo. Moulded in ABS plastic to match the lamp base, it fits over the existing light without drilling or any other body modification.
How many tail light guards do I need for a pair of lamps?
This guard is sold singly, so you'll need two to cover both rear lamps as a matched pair. Each guard is shaped for one 95mm round NAS-pattern light and doesn't come as a kit.
Does this guard fit all Defender rear lamps, or only certain ones?
It's designed specifically for round 95mm NAS-pattern rear lamps as fitted to the Defender 90/110/130 up to 2016. It won't fit the rectangular Wipac-style rear lamp clusters used on other Defender variants, so check your lamp shape before ordering.
Do I need to drill or modify anything to fit this guard?
No drilling or other body modification is needed. The guard fits directly over the existing NAS-pattern lamp, and its moulded drain hole lines up with the drain in the lamp base so water doesn't collect behind it.
