This is the rear shock absorber for the Range Rover Sport L494 2014-2022 fitted with ACE suspension and Continuous Variable Damping. It's an electronically controlled damper that adjusts firmness on the move, and the same part fits both the RH and LH rear.

Does my Range Rover Sport need the ACE version?

Only fit this ACE damper if your L494 has ACE (Active Cornering Enhancement) with Continuous Variable Damping. It carries a wiring connection for the adaptive valve, so it's not interchangeable with a standard passive rear shock. Check your suspension type before ordering.

How many of these rear shocks do I need?
