The LR057792G is the left-hand exhaust camshaft for the 3.0L V6 diesel engine. It operates the exhaust valves on the LH cylinder bank, controlling their opening and closing as the engine runs.
Does this fit the 2.7 TDV6 as well as the 3.0 V6 diesel?
No. This camshaft fits the 3.0L V6 diesel only and does not fit the earlier 2.7L TDV6. The two engines use different camshafts, so confirm you have the 3.0 V6 before ordering.
Is this the left-hand or right-hand bank camshaft?
This is the left-hand bank exhaust camshaft. The 3.0 V6 diesel has separate cams per bank, so make sure you need the LH exhaust cam and not the RH or an intake camshaft.
