Waarschuwingsdraad slijtage remblokken voor het waarschuwingscircuit voor slijtage van de remblokken achter.

Loopt tegen het remblok achteraan en maakt deel uit van de elektrische slijtagewaarschuwingslus. Wanneer het frictiemateriaal zijn slijtagelimiet bereikt, schuurt de remschijf de draad door en onderbreekt het circuit, waardoor de waarschuwing voor slijtage van de remblokken op het instrumentenpaneel oplicht om te vragen de remblokken te vervangen.
