What does the supercharger do on the 5.0 V8 AJ133?
The supercharger on the AJ133 is a belt-driven Roots-type blower sitting in the vee of the engine beneath the intake. It forces compressed air into the cylinders, which is what gives the 5.0L V8 its power and throttle response over the naturally aspirated version.
