What is the LR114037W front MacPherson strut?
The LR114037W is the front right-hand MacPherson strut for cars without adaptive damping. It combines the damper and upper wheel-locating member in one unit, carrying the steering knuckle at its base and the coil spring seat, so it controls wheel movement and forms the steering axis.
What's the difference between this strut and an adaptive damping one?
This is the passive strut, without adaptive damping. It isn't interchangeable with an adaptive damping strut, which carries a damper control solenoid and wiring monitored by the suspension module. Fitting the wrong type sets a fault, so confirm your car doesn't have adaptive damping before ordering.
Which Evoque does this right-hand strut fit?
This front strut fits the Range Rover Evoque L551 (2019 on), right-hand side, without adaptive damping, from VIN MH134360. Replace struts in pairs across the axle and reset the front wheel alignment afterwards, as a worn strut gives poor damping, nose dive and cupped tyre wear.
