This lambda sensor is the oxygen sensor for the lower, post-catalyst position on the exhaust front pipe. Mounted downstream of the catalytic converter, it measures residual exhaust oxygen and reports to the engine control module, which compares it against the upstream sensor to assess catalyst efficiency. Fitted to the 2.0L AJ200 petrol on the Discovery Sport.
