What is this rear brake disc set?

This is a pair of 325mm rear brake discs for the Range Rover Velar, supplied together to renew the complete rear axle. Each disc locates on the rear hub flange and forms the surface the rear sliding caliper clamps against to slow the vehicle.

Which Velar variants take the 325mm rear discs?

The 325mm rear discs fit the Range Rover Velar L560 2017+ from VIN MA318963, covering 2.0-litre petrol and diesel, 3.0 V6 diesel and petrol, and PHEV variants. Confirm the diameter of the disc being replaced, as caliper size determines which disc your vehicle uses.

Are pads included, and what else is needed?

Pads are not included; this set is the two rear discs only. Fit a new set of rear pads at the same time so the fresh friction material beds evenly to the new discs. Since the pair covers both sides, the rear axle is renewed together in one operation.

Why replace the rear brake discs?

Rear brake discs are replaced once worn below minimum thickness, scored, or distorted by heat. On the Velar the rear caliper also provides the electric park brake clamp, so heavily corroded rear discs can reduce parking-brake hold as well as service braking.
