Frequently asked questions

What is the LR189028LR brake disc used for?
The LR189028LR is a front vented brake disc for the Range Rover L322 (2002-2012), fitting all engine variants. It mounts to the front wheel hub and provides the friction surface the front caliper clamps, with internal cooling vanes that draw air through the disc to disperse braking heat. Genuine Land Rover.
How many front discs do I need for the L322?
Order two LR189028LR discs to renew the front axle as a pair on the Range Rover L322. Discs should be replaced in axle sets so braking stays even, and new front pads should be fitted at the same time. Each disc is supplied singly.
What are the signs the front disc needs replacing?
Vibration or a pulsing pedal under braking, scoring, or a raised lip at the disc edge are the usual signs the front disc has worn on the Range Rover L322. Discs below minimum thickness or heavily corroded should be renewed as an axle pair.
