What is the PCG100300 radiator mounting rubber for?
The PCG100300 is the lower radiator mounting rubber for the Land Rover Defender Td5 and later Puma (up to 2016). The radiator sits in these rubbers at its base, which cushion it and stop vibration reaching the core. Part number PCG100300.
How many lower mounting rubbers are needed?
Two lower mounting rubbers are fitted per vehicle, one at each bottom corner of the radiator, so order two to do the job. They're sold individually. Replacing both together is best when the radiator is out. Land Rover fits a pair at the base.
Where does this mounting rubber fit on a Defender?
This mounting rubber locates the bottom of the radiator into the support panel on the Defender Td5 and Puma. The radiator's lower pegs seat into these rubbers, isolating it from chassis vibration. It's a cooling system mounting, not a coolant-carrying part.
