Frequently asked questions

What does the rear anti-roll bar link do on a Range Rover L322?
The rear anti-roll bar link (drop link) connects the rear anti-roll bar to the suspension on the Range Rover L322 (2002-2012). It transmits body-roll load into the bar so it resists lean during cornering. Each link carries a ball joint at both ends to allow suspension articulation.
How many rear anti-roll bar links does an L322 need?
The Range Rover L322 uses two rear anti-roll bar links, one per side. They're typically replaced as a pair, since both sides usually wear at a similar rate and matched links keep the rear bar working evenly.
What are the signs a rear anti-roll bar link needs replacing?
A worn rear anti-roll bar link typically knocks or rattles over uneven surfaces as the ball joints at each end develop play. On the Range Rover L322 this often shows as a clatter from the rear over speed bumps or rough roads. A new link restores quiet anti-roll control.
Has part RGD500150 been replaced by a newer number?
Part RGD500150 has been superseded to LR030048 for the Range Rover L322 rear anti-roll bar link, and the two interchange directly. An order may be supplied as the later LR030048. Earlier references RGD000130, RGD000131 and RGD00013 also cross to this link.
