Frequently asked questions

What is the rear lower arm suspension bush used for on a Range Rover L322?
The rear lower arm suspension bush is a pivot bush in the Range Rover L322 (2002-2012) rear multi-link suspension. It's pressed into the lower arm's mounting eye, isolating the joint between the arm and the subframe or wheel carrier while letting the arm pivot through suspension travel.
What are the signs the rear lower arm bush needs replacing?
A worn rear lower arm bush typically perishes or splits, letting the arm develop play. On the L322 this allows rear geometry to shift and often produces knock over bumps or uneven tyre wear. The bonded rubber absorbs road shock, so a cracked bush also makes the rear feel loose.
Can the rear lower arm bush be fitted at home?
Fitting the rear lower arm bush usually needs a press or a bush removal tool, since it's an interference fit in the arm's mounting eye. Many people replace the bushes with the arm off the car. It's typically a job for someone with workshop tools rather than basic hand tools.
How does this bush relate to RGX000070?
Part RGX000071 interchanges with RGX000070 for the L322 rear lower arm bush position. The two numbers cover the same rear lower arm bush, so check the reference on your existing bush or arm to confirm which version your suspension takes.
