De motor drijft de raammechaniek via zijn tandwielkast aan om het portierglas te heffen en te laten zakken op verzoek van de raamschakelaar. Hij wordt aan de raammechaniek aan de binnenkant van de deur gemonteerd en wordt vervangen wanneer het glas langzaam beweegt, vastloopt of niet meer reageert omdat de motor of zijn interne tandwielen defect zijn geraakt.

What does the RTC6641 window motor do?
The RTC6641 window motor drives the front door window regulator on the right-hand side. It turns the regulator gearing to raise and lower the door glass when the window switch is pressed, and mounts to the regulator inside the door.
Which door does this motor fit?
This motor fits the right-hand front door. It's the RH front unit and isn't interchangeable with the left side. It suits Discovery 1 (1989-1998) and Range Rover Classic (1986-1994) with power front windows.
Does this fit all Discovery 1 models?
On Discovery 1 this RH front window motor fits up to VIN MA137189. Range Rover Classic fitment runs 1986-1994. Use your VIN to confirm which regulator your vehicle uses, as later Discovery 1 build used a different unit.
