What is this body rivet used for?
This body rivet is a general-purpose fixing that secures panels and trim to the body structure on the Land Rover Defender. It's used across the cab, front wings, hood sticks, rear body cappings and panels, and for door seal retention. Supplied individually, fitting Defenders from 1987 to 2006.
Can the body rivet be reused?
No. The rivet is destroyed when it's drilled out, so renew it rather than refit it. When replacing Defender panels or door seals, order a new rivet for every one removed.
How many body rivets will I need?
This body rivet is sold individually, so count the fixings on the panel or seal you're refitting and order to match. Because it's used widely across the Defender body, buying a few spare covers any lost or damaged during the job.
