What is the STC766 headlamp used for?
The STC766 is the front left-hand headlamp for the Discovery 1 (1989-1998). It's the complete left-side headlamp unit, a Wipac-type lamp for right-hand drive Discovery 1 models.
Does this headlamp fit all Discovery 1 models?
This headlamp fits the Discovery 1 up to VIN LA081991. The headlamp design changed on later Discovery 1 builds, so check your chassis number against the LA081991 break before ordering to confirm the correct type.
Is the STC766 a single lamp or a pair?
The STC766 is the left-hand headlamp only. The matching right-hand lamp is a separate part. Owners often replace both sides together on the Discovery 1 when lenses have yellowed or cracked with age.
