What is the TF31040 LED light kit and what does it include?
The TF31040 is a complete front and rear LED lighting kit for the Land Rover Defender, with smoked lenses. Every lamp uses the larger 95mm format and the kit comes with the mounting plinths that size needs. All units are plug-and-play and mount with the stainless screws supplied.
Do the 95mm lamps come with mounting plinths?
Yes. Because every lamp in the TF31040 kit is the 95mm size, the required mounting plinths are included in the box. You don't need to order plinths separately, unlike the smaller 73mm kits where the 95mm fog and reverse lamps need plinths added.
Is a flasher relay included for the LED indicators?
Yes. A replacement flasher relay is included to correct the indicator flash rate. LED lamps draw less current than the original bulbs, which speeds up the flash, and the relay returns it to the normal rate. All lamps are E-marked.
Which vehicle does this smoked LED kit fit?
The TF31040 kit fits the Land Rover Defender, replacing the original front and rear lamps directly. The smoked lenses give a darker look while the LED elements increase output over the original sealed-beam or halogen lamps.
