What is the TF3351 tree strap used for?

The TF3351 tree strap is a 2m anchor strap with a safety hook at one end and a metal eye at the other, rated 5,000 kg, for anchoring a winch line or extending it to an anchor point.

Can this strap be used as a snatch recovery rope?

No. It is a static anchor strap and must not be used as a kinetic (snatch) recovery rope. It is designed to hold a steady load, not to stretch and absorb shock.

What is the benefit of the hook-and-eye design?

The hooked end clips straight onto a recovery eye or ring while the metal eye takes a shackle, so the strap deploys and recovers single-handed without threading a soft loop.

How does this differ from the metal-eyes tree strap?

This strap has a safety hook on one end for quick clip-on. The TF3350 version has a metal eye at both ends. Both are 2m, 5,000 kg static straps.
