The TF818HD are heavy-duty chassis-mounted rock sliders with tree bars, supplied as a pair to protect the sills and lower body. This HD version is fabricated from 4mm steel on four outriggers, giving greater beam stiffness than the standard slider. They fit the Discovery 3 and Discovery 4.
What's the difference between the TF818HD and the standard rock slider?
The TF818HD uses 4mm steel and mounts on four outriggers, against 3mm steel and three outriggers on the standard TF818 slider. The extra material and mounting point give greater beam stiffness and spread impact load across an additional chassis pick-up point. Both fit the Discovery 3 and Discovery 4.
