The TF8225 wing top protectors are chequer plate covers for the upper surfaces of the Defender front wings, supplied as a pair. The wing tops are used as a step and working platform when reaching the bonnet, screen and roof, and are where paint gets scratched first.
What is the aerial hole on these wing tops for?
This version is pierced for a left-hand mounted radio aerial. Choose the LH aerial version if your Defender aerial sits on the left wing, otherwise the plate will not line up with your aerial position.
Which Defender do these wing tops fit?
The TF8225 fits the pre-2007 old-style Defender, before the 2007 Puma. It is supplied as a pair, silver, with the left-hand aerial aperture.
