Frequently asked questions

What is the TF930 handheld scanner used for?
The TF930 is a handheld OBD-II scanner and fault code reader pre-programmed for Land Rover and Jaguar vehicles. It reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes and shows a live data stream through the standard 16-pin OBD-II connector. It supports CANBUS, ISO9141, KWP2000 and J1850 protocols.
How does the TF930 scanner connect and update?
The TF930 plugs into the vehicle's standard 16-pin OBD-II diagnostic link connector. You operate it through a silicone keypad and a 2.8in colour TFT display with multi-language menus. Software updates load over USB 2.0, so it stays current with new applications.
Does the TF930 work on any Land Rover?
The TF930 is pre-programmed for Land Rover and Jaguar applications through the OBD-II port, which is standard on vehicles from the early 2000s on. Older pre-OBD-II vehicles don't have the 16-pin connector it needs, so check your vehicle has an OBD-II port before ordering.
