What is the TFRSPACER misalignment spacer for?

The TFRSPACER is a mounting adaptor for the spherical bearing eyes of performance coilover and air shock absorbers. The spacers seat either side of the shock spherical bearing to reduce the effective bore, so the shock mounts on a smaller bolt while the bearing keeps its full movement.

What do misalignment spacers do?

Misalignment spacers let a spherical bearing pivot through a wider angle at the mounting point without binding, and adapt a wider shock eye to a narrower mounting bolt. They are typically used when fitting performance dampers to a bracket sized for a different bolt.

How many misalignment spacers are needed per shock?

Typically two are needed per shock eye, one each side of the spherical bearing, so a pair fits one mounting point. Check whether your damper needs one or both ends spaced before ordering.
