Frequently asked questions

What is the TFSRNUTRH locking nut for?
The TFSRNUTRH is a locking nut that secures the right-hand threaded end of a Terrafirma heavy-duty steering rod. Once toe or drag link length is set, the nut is tightened to lock the adjustment and stop the bar rotating in service.
Why is this a right-hand thread nut?
Heavy-duty steering rods are machined left-hand thread at one end and right-hand at the other, so length adjusts by rotating the bar. This nut matches the right-hand threaded end; the left-hand end needs the corresponding LH nut.
How many locking nuts does a steering rod need?
A heavy-duty steering rod typically uses one locking nut at each threaded end, so you will usually need both the RH and LH nuts to lock a complete rod. Check which ends your rod still needs before ordering.
