What is the WAN000010LLR worm drive clamp used for?
This worm drive hose clamp secures a hose or ducting joint in the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) circuit of the Range Rover L322 (2002-2009) 3.0 diesel Ti (M57 D30). It holds the connection gas-tight against the heat and pressure of recirculated exhaust gas.
How many clamps are needed for the EGR circuit?
Three clamps of this type are used across the EGR circuit on the L322 M57 diesel. It's common to replace all three together while the system is open, since they share the same heat exposure and age at a similar rate. Sold individually.
Can this clamp be reused after servicing?
Yes. The worm drive band releases and retensions repeatedly without deforming, unlike a single-use crimped clamp. That said, a clamp that's corroded or won't hold tension should be replaced, as they sit in a hot area on the L322 EGR circuit and can seize.
