Klephoedkeerring voor de Rover V8-motor, onderdeel van het klepmechanisme van de cilinderkop.

De keerring past over de bovenkant van de klepsteel waar deze door de klepgeleider gaat. Hij reguleert de kleine hoeveelheid olie die de klepsteel smeert en voorkomt dat overtollige olie via de geleider de verbrandingskamer in wordt gezogen, waardoor het olieverbruik en de rookontwikkeling bij inlaat/uitlaat worden gecontroleerd. Er wordt één keerring per klep gemonteerd.
