Oliepomp automatische transmissie voor de 4-traps automatische versnellingsbak, onderdeel van het interne hydraulische systeem van de transmissie.

De pomp bevindt zich aan de voorkant van de versnellingsbak en wordt aangedreven door de naaf van de koppelomvormer. Hij zuigt ATF aan uit het carter en levert de onder druk staande stroom die het ventielhuis voedt, de koppelingen en banden bedient, de koppelomvormer vult en de interne componenten smeert.

Voldoende pompopbrengst is essentieel voor een correcte inschakeling van de versnelling en schakelkwaliteit; lage of onregelmatige lijnspanning is een veelvoorkomend symptoom van pompslijtage.
