What is the TF864 fuel tank guard?
The TF864 is a 5mm steel underbody protection panel for the fuel tank on a Land Rover Discovery 2. The tank sits low under the rear overhang, one of the most exposed underbody points over rocks and ruts. The guard bolts up around the tank and its cradle so impacts are taken by the panel rather than the tank.
Why fit a steel fuel tank guard?
