Speciale popnagel is een kunststof schroefnagel (schroeftype popnagel) die wordt gebruikt als een bevestigingsmiddel voor exterieur carrosseriebekleding en wielkuiponderdelen. Deze wordt vastgezet en losgemaakt met een Pozidriv-schroevendraaier, zodat het paneel kan worden verwijderd en teruggeplaatst zonder de bevestiging te beschadigen.

Typische toepassingen zijn het bevestigen van wielkuipen en spatborden, het vasthouden van dorpelpanelen en zijlijsten, en het positioneren van sierlijsten of sensorclips waar een onderhoudsvriendelijke, herbruikbare bevestiging nodig is.
