What is the T2R22072-G front ABS sensor for?
The T2R22072-G is a front ABS wheel speed sensor for the Jaguar F-TYPE (X152). Mounted in the front hub carrier, it reads the encoder ring in the wheel bearing and returns a rotation signal to the ABS module, shared with traction and stability control.
How many front ABS sensors are fitted?
Two of these sensors are fitted per vehicle, one at each front corner, and the same part is used on both sides. For a matched pair, order two. A single sensor covers one corner if only one has failed.
Why does a wheel speed sensor set an ABS and stability fault together?
A failed front wheel speed sensor on the F-TYPE commonly sets an ABS fault and disables stability control at the same time, since they share the signal. Chafed leads are a frequent cause, so on fitting re-secure the lead into its harness clips clear of the driveshaft.
Does this sensor fit all F-TYPE model years?
This sensor fits the F-TYPE from VIN (V)K37765 onwards. An earlier VIN range used a different front sensor, so check your VIN against the K37765 break before ordering, since the earlier and later sensors are not interchangeable.
