Brand ARB

Frequently asked questions

What is the Awning Bracket used for?
The Awning Bracket mounts an ARB awning to a vehicle's roof bars, using welded gussets for extra strength in off-road and heavy-duty use. It's zinc-plated and powder-coated, and can be fitted upright or inverted.
How many brackets are needed to fit an awning?
At least two are needed per awning, though three is preferable for extra support. The outer hole between the gussets should always be used, since that's where the gusset stays effective.
What tools are needed to fit the Awning Bracket?
You'll need 8mm mounting bolts for the roof bar connection, since the bracket is pre-drilled for them, plus standard hand tools to fit the three slotted 6mm holes that secure the awning itself.
Will this bracket fit my roof bars?
At 50mm wide, it fits over Thule SquareBar and Rhino heavy-duty bars when mounted inverted, or upright using T-bolts or channel nuts on Thule ProfessionalBar, WingBar and AeroBar.
