This ride height sensor measures corner ride height and reports it to the air suspension control module so the system can level the vehicle and adjust height. It's an OEM ProEvo+ sensor for the New Defender, Discovery 5, Range Rover L405 and Range Rover Sport L494 with air suspension.
How is LR098915PR different from LR098914PR?
LR098915PR carries JLR callout 3C187B and fits the paired sensor position to LR098914PR (callout 3C187A). Each covers a different corner of the air suspension, so check which position your vehicle needs before ordering. Renewing more than one corner may need both parts.
What happens when this ride height sensor fails?
When this ride height sensor fails, the air suspension usually logs a fault and may sit low, sit unevenly, or stop adjusting height. The control module relies on accurate corner height signals, so a faulty sensor is replaced to restore correct levelling on the New Defender and L405.
