Frequently asked questions

What is the LR113706 brake caliper and where does it fit?
The LR113706 is a rear brake caliper for the Land Rover Discovery Sport (2015 on), Range Rover Evoque L538 (2012-2018), and Range Rover Evoque L551 (2019 on). It clamps the brake pads onto the rear disc to slow the vehicle. It's a safety-critical braking part.
Is one caliper enough or do I need both sides?
This is a single rear caliper. Many owners replace calipers in axle pairs on the Discovery Sport and Evoque so braking stays even, but you can fit one side if only that caliper has failed. Always check the opposite side and bleed the brakes after fitting.
What are the signs a rear caliper needs replacing?
Signs on the Discovery Sport and Evoque include a sticking or dragging rear brake, uneven pad wear, fluid leaks at the caliper, or a seized piston. A failing caliper can pull braking to one side. A leaking or seized caliper should be replaced promptly.
