What does the GBH134GIRLING clutch hose do?
The GBH134GIRLING carries hydraulic fluid from the rigid pipe on the chassis to the clutch slave cylinder at the bellhousing, flexing to absorb movement between the chassis-mounted pipe and the engine-mounted slave cylinder.
Can the GBH134GIRLING be used as a brake hose too?
The same 400mm flexible hose is used in both the clutch and brake hydraulic circuits on these vehicles, so the part is physically identical either way. Order it for the specific circuit you're replacing to keep your parts list accurate.
Which Land Rover models take the GBH134GIRLING?
It fits Series IIA 88 inch (except 6-cylinder) and Series III 88 inch up to June 1980. Check your chassis and engine variant, as the 6-cylinder Series IIA and later Series III models use a different hose.
