What is the GA3313 brake pad used for?
GA3313 is a rear brake pad set for the rear disc brake caliper. Each pad is friction material on a steel backing plate that clamps against the rear disc when hydraulic pressure moves the caliper piston, slowing the rear axle. It fits the rear caliper on Defender models built between 1986 and 2006.
What are the signs the GA3313 rear pads need replacing?
Signs include a metallic scraping noise, longer stopping distances, or visible pad material below about 3mm at the thinnest point. Rear pads wear more slowly than front pads but should still be replaced across the axle as a set, with the caliper slide pins checked for free movement at the same time.
Does GA3313 fit all Defender variants from 1986 to 2006?
GA3313 fits Defender rear brakes from 1986 to 2006, with the 110 covered from 1994 onwards per SAP fitment data. Earlier 110 models used a different rear caliper, so confirm your build year before ordering if your Defender is a pre-1994 110.
