The LR153546 is a front brake pad wear sensor for the New Range Rover L460 (2022+) and Range Rover Sport L461 (2023+). It's an electrical sensor that triggers a dashboard warning when the front brake pads reach their wear limit.
Do I need a new wear sensor with new pads?
Fit a new wear sensor whenever you replace the front brake pads on the L460 or L461. The sensor is destroyed as the pads wear into it, so it's single-use. Typically one sensor is used on the front axle.
