What are these front brake pads (less springs)?
These are front axle brake pads for the Discovery Sport L550, supplied as a complete axle set. The pads locate in the front caliper carrier and clamp the ventilated front disc to generate braking torque at the front axle.
What does less springs mean?
Less springs means these pads are supplied without the anti-rattle springs and retaining clips. The existing clips are refitted, or renewed separately, when the pads are changed. Check that your clips are in good condition, or order replacement hardware alongside the pads.
Which vehicle does this fit and how are they fitted?
These front pads fit the Discovery Sport L550 from 2015, Changsu (China) build. Fit them as a complete front axle set to keep braking balanced, and check disc thickness and run-out at the same time. Confirm your build plant by VIN before ordering.
