De wielkastrand is een sierlijst aan de buitenkant die rond de achterste wielkast is gemonteerd en de blootliggende rand van de wielkast op het achterspatbord bedekt en beschermt.

Het beschermt de carrosserie en lak tegen modder, opspattend water en steenslag die door het wiel worden opgeworpen en geeft de wielkast een afgewerkte rand. De sierlijst bevindt zich op de wielflens en wordt vastgezet met clips.
