What does the GA1214 front hub bearing and upright assembly include?
GA1214 is a complete left-hand front hub bearing and upright (steering knuckle) assembly for the Freelander 2. The bearing comes already pressed into the upright, removing the need for a separate bearing press job.
What does the upright on GA1214 do besides carry the wheel bearing?
It locates the lower arm ball joint and upper strut mounting, and provides the mounting faces for the brake calliper and wheel speed sensor on the Freelander 2's front suspension, left-hand side.
Is GA1214 the left-hand or right-hand side part?
GA1214 is the left-hand (LH) front side, fitting the Freelander 2 (LR2) 2006-2014 on all engines. If you need the right-hand side too, that's GA1213.
What are the signs a Freelander 2 front hub bearing needs replacing?
