Frequently asked questions

What does the LR000933 coolant hose do?
The LR000933 is the bottom expansion tank coolant hose. It runs from the lower outlet of the coolant expansion tank to the rigid coolant line serving the water pump, returning make-up coolant to the pump side of the system on the 3.2L I6 petrol engine.
Which vehicle does this expansion tank hose fit?
This hose fits the Freelander 2 (2006-2014) with the 3.2L DOHC MPI inline-six petrol engine. It is moulded to the routing that installation needs, so it is specific to that engine layout.
When should this coolant hose be replaced?
Replace the hose when it hardens or weeps at the expansion tank spigot or at the rigid-line connection. Aged coolant hoses typically go hard and can seep or split, causing coolant loss and overheating if left.
