The LR001442 is the oil cooler inlet tube on the Freelander 2 with the 3.2L I6 petrol engine. It carries oil from the engine to the oil filter housing and cooler. This is a Genuine Land Rover part.
Why does the oil cooler tube need replacing?
Oil cooler tubes can corrode, chafe or leak at their unions over time, causing oil loss on the 3.2 I6 Freelander 2. A weeping tube or oil around the filter housing is a sign it needs renewing.
Which Freelander 2 does this oil cooler tube fit?
