Frequently asked questions

What is the LR001624 splash shield for?
The LR001624 splash shield is a rear wheelarch protector that lines the inner rear side panel on the Freelander 2 (2006-2014). It shields the inner panel from road spray, mud and debris thrown up by the rear wheel.
How many splash shields are needed?
Land Rover fits two per vehicle, one at each rear wheelarch. They're sold individually, so order two if you're replacing both sides. Fits all Freelander 2 engine variants.
Where does the splash shield fit?
It fits inside the rear wheelarch against the inner rear side panel on the Freelander 2, lining the arch to protect the bodywork from spray and debris. It's an aftermarket replacement for the original wheelarch liner.
