What is the LR134692AP brake pad set?

The LR134692AP is a set of front disc brake pads for the Freelander 2 (2006-2014). The pads locate in the caliper carrier on either side of the disc; under hydraulic pressure the caliper pistons press them against the disc faces to slow the vehicle. Matched to the vented front disc.

Do I replace front pads as a set?

Yes. Front pads are replaced as a complete axle set so braking effort stays balanced side to side on the Freelander 2. This set covers both front calipers. Inspect the disc faces for scoring and check the caliper slide pins move freely when renewing pads.
