Oliepomppakking voor de afdichting van de oliepomp op het cilinderblok.

Gebruikt op de 2,0-liter 4-cilinder T-serie MPi benzinemotor en de 2,0-liter 8-kleps L-serie (TCie) dieselmotor. De pakking vormt de verbinding aan de montageflens van de oliepomp op het blok, en dicht de onder druk staande olietoevoer af waar de pomp uit het smeercircuit zuigt en aan levert.

Niet compatibel met de latere Td4 BMW dieselmotor.

What does the oil pump gasket seal?
The oil pump gasket seals the oil pump to the cylinder block, sealing the pressurised oil feed where the pump draws from and delivers to the lubrication circuit. It fits the 2.0-litre engines in the Discovery 1 (1989-1998) and Freelander 1 (1997-2006).
Does this fit the Freelander Td4 diesel?
No. This oil pump gasket does not fit the later Td4 BMW diesel engine. It's for the earlier 2.0-litre T-Series unit in the Discovery 1 and the 2.0-litre engine in the Freelander 1. Check your engine type before ordering if you have a Freelander.
When should the oil pump gasket be replaced?
Replace the oil pump gasket whenever the oil pump is removed from the block, or if oil is leaking from the pump mounting face. The gasket is typically renewed on refit because the old one hardens and won't reseal reliably once disturbed.
